To do so the project aims to create:

Innovative DHH accessible methodologies for DHH trainers and adults that facilitate their active involvement in citizen science programs for climate change.

The CitSci4All Project will offer the following recourses:

  1. A Guide on DHH Populations’ Engagement in Citizen Science for Climate Change
  2. A Customized Citizen Science Toolkit for DHH Trainers.
  3. A Comprehensive Report on Citizen Science Project Implementations by DHH Adults for Climate Change.
  4. A Reflective Report: ‘The Way Ahead to Open Roads: A Report on the Lessons Learnt and Gained Through the Inclusion of DHH Adults & Trainers in CS Projects for Climate Change’.

This project brings together 6 European Partners:

  • IRSAM, a French Institution specializing in hearing impairments and sensory disabilities in both children and adults
  • IST, an Italian Institute providing a wide range of services and activities for the DHH and other linguistic and cognitively impaired children and adults
  • Web2Learn, a Greek organization specializing in open education, science and policy, as well as, social connectivity. It has experience in civic engagement strategies for environmental preservation in a range of citizen science projects
  • IASIS, a Greek NGO that is active in the fields of social inclusion, mental health and education, offering counselling and psychosocial support to marginalized groups
  • Citizens in Power, a Cypriot non-for-profit educational and research organization in the fields of global education, social innovation, entrepreneurship, STEM and sustainable growth. It has experience in facilitating the active participating of the public in civic life through the provision of innovative material and trainings
  • RITE, a Cypriot non-for-profit organization in Cyprus that seeks to contribute to scientific and applied research with the purpose of reinforcing innovation, technology transfer, knowledge consolidation and policy reform.
